THE AMPS ~

The Magnificent Seven ✨

Here you will find seven of my favourite amps.
These models have earnt their merits and proven to be amazing tone machines, each with their own personality yet all robust and reliable.

Their circuit designs hold the DNA of the early Fender classics from the 50s & 60s. A few logical improvements and some clever refinements
result in a range of Amps that deliver stunning tone in a sturdy and roadworthy package.

PRINCETON REVERB 🔸

12w - 110 combo - 14kg - 5AR4 - 6V6 x2 - 12A*7 x4

The Princeton Reverb is a legend and for good reason, it is the smallest of the Blackface Amps to feature Reverb & Trem. Its tone and touch response is nothing short of stunning. This circuit is one of Leo’s greatest creations and requires only minor improvements. My version features improved filtering, deeper tremolo and adjustable grid bias. It’s wonderful tone and touch response can leave a player weak at the knees.

KOMET HEAD 🔸

15w - 6kg - 5AR4 - 6V6 x2 - 12AX7 x2

This circuit is based on the Princeton Reverb Amp with reverb & tremolo deleted whilst maintaining the 3 preamp gain stages, mids pot added as well as an impedance selector and line out jack.  A great travel companion for the working Musician.

KOMET Combo 🔸

15w - 112 combo - 13kg - 5AR4 - 6V6 x2 - 12AX7 x2

Same as Komet Head unit but in a 112 combo with a Warehouse Green Beret driver, A versatile tone machine in a grab-n-go combo. Also available as a 110 combo if you prefer the response of the 10” speaker.
