I’ve lusted after one of these since hearing a lot of my favourite guitar tones - Credence and ZZtop to name 2 were recorded using it. Glorious complex tones abound, build quality and service were first class as well.

♦️ Outrageously good workmanship from this guy. brought my 81 marshall in for a service and it hasn't sounded this good in the 20 years that I've owned it. Also brought in my broken tweed deluxe and found out that the brand new power tubes my old amp tech installed were no good. If you go to anyone else you are wasting your money.

♦️ I ordered a 5e3 tweed Deluxe from the good doctor. He asked me about my guitars and tone in a very experienced manner and offered me a range of options. Once we agreed, he set to work, offering regular text and picture updates of every stage. It arrived via post with a cool Dr Johnsons T Shirt. The amp is whisper quiet and has been a delight to play, offering all the rich tones this amp is renowned for. I have gigged with it in the Brisbane CBD at Brooklyn Standard and the Greazer in the Valley. It loved being opened up on stage. I've had a number of other guitar player mates comment that they love the tone as well. The build quality is fantastic with flawless wiring and overall great vintage attention to detail. The finish looks really vintage and eye catching. I am a vintage amp collector so I have the benefit of comparison. This amp has a unique personality which I really love. The doctor's a great guy who deserves recognition as a top amplifier craftsman. Encourage his rare craft and expertise by asking him to build an amp suited to your needs. I'm seriously considering asking him to perform brain surgery on my 65 Deluxe Reissue with point to point goodness. Apparently Troy C-Daley has had the doctor do it to his amps so it must be worth it!    Thanks Dr Johnson

♦️ Hello doc finally got the amp and gave it a test drive all good i took it to band practice last night and was running my wampler dual fusion for gain sounded fantastic. More than enough volume it took the pedal really well, reverb gets messy up to high but playing live at volume i turn it off or just a tiny bit, clean country stuff sounds excellent but solos with a fair bit of gain sounds great to very fluent almost a liquid quality an all round great amp i first tried it with my G&L tele sounded great last night I took my gibson sg that sounded even better, very happy with it thanks
